What each of them does: Item Properties

Play terms

Term Meaning
PvP / PvM Fighting players / fighting monsters
Tamer A player who tames animals → Nature Skills
Crafter A player who makes items → Crafting Skills
Dexxer A dexterity-focused armed warrior
Mage A spellcaster
Tank mage A mixed build, both armored fighter and mage
Loot Items taken from a corpse
Farming Hunting or gathering in the same place over and over
Grind Raising a skill by repetition
Res Resurrection → Death and Recovery
Recall Teleporting with the Recall spell
Gate Opening a gate with the Gate Travel spell
Rune / runebook Recall runes and runebooks; teleport destinations
Bank / bankbox Your bank box; the same box in every town
Stack A pile of items of the same kind
Insure Insurance → Economy
Bond / bonded A permanent bond with a pet → Animal Tamer
BOD Bulk Order Deed — the blacksmith's and tailor's bulk order (separate from Trade Orders) → Crafter
Champ / champ spawn Champion altar → Champion Altars
Power scroll / PS Raises a skill's cap
Stat scroll Raises your stat cap
Exceptional / exc Exceptional quality → Item Quality
Slayer A weapon that says "… slayer"
Fizzle A spell that fails → How Magic Works
Special move A weapon's special move → Combat
Stone The unit of weight → Strength, Dexterity, Intelligence
Facet A separate map such as Felucca, Ilshenar or Malas
Murderer / red A killer of five innocents; their name shows red
Criminal / grey A player who committed a crime; their name shows gray
Guard zone A town area protected by guards
Idoc A house whose tax is about to run out and which is about to fall → Housing

Every expansion of the game is an "era"; our server is in the Mondain's Legacy era.
