Houses and Boats
Every classic house you can place and every boat you can buy, as they look in the game. Placement rules, the tax and keeping your items safe → Owning a House
Houses
A house is placed with the house placement tool bought from an architect: double-click the tool, choose the house from the list, show the spot. The price is taken from your bank when you place it; if you demolish the house yourself, all of it goes back. Storage: the total number of items the house can hold (including what is inside locked-down containers) / the number of items that can be locked down. Vendors: the player vendors you can run in the house.
Besides the classic houses there are also customizable foundations whose inside you design yourself (from 7×7 to 18×18) → Owning a House

How to use a boat
- The deed must be in your backpack. Double-click the deed; the game says "Where do you wish to place the ship?", show open water near the shore. A boat cannot be placed inside a dungeon or a house; boats cannot be placed from Ilshenar and Malas.
- The boat goes into the water; two ship keys appear: one in your backpack, one in your bank.
- The tillerman steers the boat. You give it spoken commands:
| Say | What it does |
|---|---|
| forward / back | forward / back |
| left / right | slide left / right |
| forward left, forward right, back left, back right | move diagonally |
| turn left / turn right | turn left / right |
| come about | turn around (180°) |
| stop | stop |
| raise anchor / drop anchor | raise / drop the anchor |
