World Map
On UORoots the in-game world map (World Map on the top menu bar, or the macro Open → World Map) comes with markers. The markers download by themselves with launcher updates; you do not need to install anything.
Fixed markers
The same for everyone; on the Felucca, Ilshenar and Malas maps (the map shows the markers of whichever land it is showing).

- From afar you see colored dots; zoom in to see icons. Names appear when you zoom in or hover over a marker.
- To hide a group: right-click the map → Map Marker Options → click the group's name (click again to show it).
Markers just for you
The server shows these only to you and updates them by itself:

| ⭐ Traveler's Road target (yellow star) | While you are on a Traveler's Road quest, the place of your next step; it moves when the step changes |
| ✖ Your corpse (red) | Where your corpse is after you die; removed when you empty your corpse or it decays |
| 🚩 Event (purple flag) | If the staff gave an event a location, it appears 1 hour before the start and is removed when the event ends |
To turn them off: right-click the map → Map Marker Options → UORoots markers (target, corpse, event). The setting is back on after you log out.
